Why did Badger add CO2 Extract of Rosemary?

Badger uses Rosemary CO2 extract as a fragrance-free anti-oxidant and natural preservative. Generally our balms are preserved with the essential oils, but many of the lip balms have such a low percentage of essential oils, especially the unscented products, that they needs something extra to help stabilize the base ingredients.
