The Durham trials were the largest and most extensive trials looking at fatty acids and learning conditions. Completed in 2002, this trial involved more than 100 children at 12 primary schools in the county. The trial looked at Dyspraxia and Motor skills, but also assessed for Dyslexia and ADHD. More than 12,000 assessments were undertaken in the course of this full double-blind, randomised, placebo-controlled trial.

Per daily intake of 2 capsules: Eicosapentaenoic acid (EPA) 186mg, Docosahexaenoic acid (DHA) 58mg, Gamma Linolenic acid (GLA) 20mg, Natural vitamin E 3.2mg -The gelatin is certified as kosher and halal. Dosage: Taking Eye Q for the first time, take 6 capsules per day with food for 12 weeks. Then reduce to a lower maintenance intake of at least two capsules per day with food.Childrens can take the same amount as adults because they have a higher rate of metabolism. Warnings: When some people first take eye q loose stools can very occasionally occur. Reducing the intake and taking the capsules after meals should resolve this. Purpose: Scientific studies have shown EPA to play a more important role in brain function than DHA. To make an analogy: If your brain was a car, DHA would play the role of Steel as it makes up a large part of the structure and foundation of the brain. But EPA would be the lubricant for its role of assisting communication between nerve ends.
