PURPOSE; Arcoxia is indicated for acute and chronic treatment of the signs and symptoms of osteoarthritis and rheumatoid arthritis, treatment of acute gouty arthritis and the relief of acute pain and musculoskeletal pain. Arcoxia is contraindicated in patients who have a sensitivity reaction. Use strictly as indicated.

Arcoxia cannot take the place of Aspirin for the prevention of heart attack or stroke. If patients are currently taking aspirin for this purpose, they should not discontinue without consultation with their Doctor. Common side effects are: hypersensitivity, fatigue, oedema, hypertension, dyspepsia, heartburn, nausea, headache and raised liver enzymes (ALT & AST).
