Active Ingredients:
Donepezil hydrochloride 10mg Dosage: Adults - initially 5mg in the evening, increased to 10mg in the evening after 4 weeks if necessary. Upper range is 10mg daily Warnings: Because of their pharmacological action, cholinesterase inhibitors may cause a slowing of the heart rate. The potential for this action may be particularly important to patients with "sick sinus syndrome" or other supraventricular cardiac conduction conditions, such as sinoatrial or atrioventricular block. Patients at an increased risk of developing ulcers, e.g., those with a history of ulcer disease or those receiving concurrent nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDS), should be aware of these symptoms and see their doctor if these symptoms are experienced. Cholinesterase inhibitors should be used with care in patients with a history of asthma or obstructive pulmonary disease. |
