Athletes Foot (Anti-fungal) Treatments

Athletes foot is a common fungal infection of the areas around the toes. Athletes foot causes itchy sore feet and is very contagious. To treat Athletes foot use Lamisil gel or Lamisil spray to keep moisture down to a minimum. Use a powder like Prantal to treat your footwear while you are treating the infection and then once or twice a week thereafter to help keep athletes foot at bay. Don’t forget to hot wash your socks to remove the chance of re-infection. Daktarin cream or Resolve cream are also effective products and are less expensive but need to be used for 3-4 weeks.
