The once-daily Exelon® patch features an advanced drug-in-adhesive matrix designed to be comfortable on the skin with minimal irritation, good adhesion and provides smooth and continuous drug delivery over 24 hours.
The Exelon® patch is applied daily to the upper back, chest and upper arm.
The patch has demonstrated good skin tolerability and stayed on very well throughout the day, even after bathing and in hot weather.
A recent study comparing Exelon Capsules to the Exelon Patch showed that the Exelon Patch was preferred by caregivers over Exelon capsules.1
It has also been shown that the Exelon patch has improved gastrointestinal tolerability - three times fewer reports of nausea and vomiting than Exelon capsules* 1-3
