Nausea Treatments

Nausea and vomiting is something that affects many of us over the course of our lives. It is usually a self limiting problem that may be related to an infection or something that disagrees with our gut. The best treatment is by replacing fluids and electrolytes with a product like Enerlyte.

In some cases vomiting can be protracted or affect the very young or very old. In this instance it is very important to monitor how much liquid the person has lost and ensure that it is being replaced with electrolyte solution like Enerlyte adequately. A simple test to see if someone is dehydrated is to gently pinch their skin and see how quickly the skin returns to normal. If it takes a few seconds the person can be quite dehydrated. In the young and old dehydration can get worse fast and develop in to a medical emergency.
