Dihydroxyacetone (Naturally Derived)
Dihydroxyacetone (DHA) is a simple carbohydrate that is used primarily as an ingredient in sunless tanning products. Derived from sugar beets and sugar cane by fermentation of glycerin.

It interacts with proteins in the epidermis, the outermost layer of the skin, to produce a darker skin colour or fake tan. As dead skin cells slough off, the tan fades, usually within 3 to 7 days after the product has been applied.  To get a deeper tan do several applications.

Jojoba Oil (ho-ho-bah) is extracted from the bean like seeds of the desert shrub Simondsia. It is a liquid wax used for its moisturising, anti-inflammatory qualities and contains natural collagen, which is almost identical in structure to the collagen in our skin.
