Excilor Nail Fungus Ultra Treatment 30ml
Excilor Ultra Nail Fungal Treat 30ml
Excilor® ULTRA is an effective treatment with a revolutionary mode of action. Excilor ULTRA is a 24-hour slow release formula that delivers complete penetration in the nail.
Excilor ULTRA is water resistant and compatible with nail polish. Simply, paint on, allow to dry, leave on 24 hours, then peel off the layer and reapply.
Always read the label. Follow the directions of use. If symptoms persist, talk to your health professional.
Active Ingredients:
Water, polyurethane, acetic acid, peppermint oil, octyl gallate, polysorbate 80, dehydroacetic acid, cetyl acetate, acetylated lanolin alcohols, preservatives.
Dosage: Instructions:
Clean the nail and, if wearing nail polish, remove completely before using Excilor® ULTRA.
Use the brush to coat the whole nail. Make sure you apply Excilor® ULTRA generously. Allow the nail to dry (3 to 5 minutes) before putting on socks and/or shoes.
After 24 hours, remove the film. This is easily done by starting to peel off the film at the side of the nail. Continue to rub off until the complete film is released from the nail.
Warnings:
Make sure the applicator is fully closed after each treatment to prevent evaporation.
If there is no visible improvement in the nail as it grows back (after about one month of treatment), consult your GP.
Extended Information: Do I have a fungal nail infection?
If you notice the presence of white spots or patches on your nail, or if the nail is turning yellow, growing thicker or becoming brittle, you probably have a fungal nail infection.
Fungal nail infection (onychomycosis) is a progressive disease: if it is left untreated, the infection spreads.
To start with, you may only see white spots or patches on the nail. They only affect the cosmetic appearance of the nail: initially there is no pain. Gradually the fungus spreads throughout the nail. Unless it is treated, it can become (very) painful, and you run the risk of losing the nail permanently.
Contamination: dermatophytes (fungi) thrive in warm, humid environments. They can spread from one fingernail or toenail to another, and from one person to another.
Environments with a high risk of contamination include: showers, changing rooms, trainers and sports shoes, socks, Turkish baths, etc.
If your nail is showing symptoms like the ones in the photographs below, you probably have a fungal nail infection. Consult your chemist or pharmacist immediately.
