Lifestream Blackcurrant capsules use fresh New Zealand Blackcurrants which contain some of the highest levels of antioxidants compared with other blackcurrants around the world. Each capsule contains the equivalent of 20 fresh NZ blackcurrants.

Active Ingredients:
Each Capsule Contains:
Ribes nigrum (Blackcurrant) extract equivalent to fresh fruit:   28.8g
standardised to contain Anthocyanins                                         60mg
This product is non-GMO and contains no gluten, sugar, lactose, yeast,  artificial colouring, flavouring or preservatives. 
The capsules used in Lifestream Bioactive Blackcurrant are 100% vegetarian - made from pure vegetable fibre, making them suitable for vegetarians and vegans. 

Adults: 1 capsule daily
Children 6-12 years: As directed by your health professional

Extended Information:
In a study conducted by Ghosh D and associates* of the Horticulture and Food Research Institute of New Zealand Ltd, Blackcurrant extracts demonstrated protective effects on human cells exposed in the laboratory setting to the hydrogen peroxide oxidative challenge. Anthocyanin and non-anthocyanin fractions of blackcurrant were able to protect cells against hydrogen peroxide-induced cell toxicity effects.
