Who do you use?

For all parcels around New Zealand - we use NZ Post Couriers.

How much is Shipping within New Zealand? - (Scroll down for International Shipping)
 

- Standard orders shipped to the North Island (under $100) = $6.50 shipping
- Standard orders shipped to the South Island (Under $100) = $6.99 shipping

- RURAL orders shipped within New Zealand (under $100) = $4.50 (extra) 
So your shipping amount to a RURAL address will be = $11.00 TOTAL for North Island and $11.49 for the South Island 
 

Do you do FREE Shipping in New Zealand?

All STANDARD orders over NZ$100 are FREE Shipping anywhere in New Zealand*
(*Some exclusions apply)

*RURAL - You will still have to pay the (Extra) fee if your order goes over $100, but not the standard $6.50 fee for the North Island, or not the standard $6.99 fee for the South Island. 
(Example - order over $100, minus the $6.50 North Island shipping, leaves only $4.50 to pay, or Order over $100 minus the $6.99 South Island shipping, leaves only $4.50 to pay )

*BULKY/HEAVY ORDERS - Our Customer Services team will email you to advise that your order will require excess shipping to be paid. If your order is over $100, you will only have to pay the excess amount, not the standard $6.50 North Island shipping, or not the standard $6.99 South Island shipping (If your order is under $100 and you are required to pay excess shipping, then it will be on top of the standard courier fee.)
 

Unfortunately we are not able to offer Free Shipping outside of New Zealand.

 

What if my order is Heavy or Bulky?

If your order is very heavy, or is very big/bulky, You may be charged for the extra weight/volume. If that is the case, Pharmacy Direct will contact you directly to discuss prices/options prior to charging your order.
(over 5kg and/or bigger than a size 2 box volumetric size)

Do you do Saturday Delivery?

No, we do not do Saturday Delivery sorry.

Do you allow Pick up's of orders?

No, all orders placed online must be sent out. No pick up's in-store unfortunately.

How long do the orders take? *

We usually ask for between 2-4 business days to process orders (not including weekends or Public Holidays), and they are processed on a first come, first served basis (regardless of where you are in New Zealand).

If we do not have enough stock when we process your order, we will order more in from the supplier, and send out your order as soon as that stock has come in.

*If paying by Direct Credit / Internet Banking:
All orders paid by Internet banking will start to be processed once the funds have been cleared by the bank. Payment is expected within 24 hours of placing the order. We are unable to start processing your order before payment has been received, so this may mean longer delays in receiving your order. If we have not received payment within 72 hours, we will cancel your order. You are however most welcome to pop online and order from us anytime. Credit card orders are downloaded into the system straight away.

* Prestige Beauty Items/Adult Toys/Fragrances/Molicare :
These items have a delivery time of between 7-14 working days as they are either sent directly from the suppliers themselves, or they are a specialised order and we are at the mercy of waiting on the suppliers for delivery. Please note that during special holidays like Christmas, this timeframe may increase. 

*Delivery within NZ:
Please note that the delivery times may take longer during the Holiday seasons - ie Christmas, New Year and other public holiday dates. Once it leaves Pharmacy Direct's premises, we have no control over the delivery timeframe/courier drivers schedule.

Do you deliver to PO Boxes/Rural/Private Bags?

Yes we deliver to PO Boxes, Private Bags and even Rural Areas within NZ.

Do you have to sign for the Parcel?

No - all parcels go out NON-SIGNATURE (Excluding Prescriptions).
Please ensure you have all of your address on your order as that is what is used as the delivery shipping address. If you wish to have signature required, please write SIGNATURE REQUIRED in the notes section of your order. Please note that Pharmacy Direct and NZ Post are not liable for parcels that are stolen, lost or damaged AFTER your order has been delivered.

Can I leave a note for the Courier?

Pharmacy Direct forwards all messages to the Courier Driver on the Delivery notes -
however because we do not directly control all parts of the delivery chain, we cannot guarantee that the Courier Drivers will action the written requests. This is beyond Pharmacy Direct's control.

This NON TRACKABLE Service is not insurable, so if it gets lost/stolen/misplaced, we are unable to refund your order

ECONOMY COURIER (Fully Trackable) - Starting From - $40.00

If your order goes over 2kg then one of our Customer Services team will contact you with the actual shipping charge according to weight prior to your order being charged.

Rest of the World - (Up to 1kg)
INTERNATIONAL AIRPOST (Non Trackable) - Starting From - $35.00
This NON TRACKABLE Service is not insurable, so if it gets lost/stolen/misplaced, we are unable to refund your order

ECONOMY COURIER (Fully Trackable) - Starting From - $62.00

If your order goes over 1kg then one of our Customer Services team will contact you with the actual shipping charge according to weight prior to your order being charged.

*Orders to the UK /Scotland/Wales/Northern Ireland/Isle of Man 
Please note, due to the new UK VAT requirements that came into effect from January 1st 2021, orders to be shipped to the above areas, these orders now will have to be over $300NZD including all discounts and excluding shipping. We apologise for the inconvenience, however this is beyond our control. If you do an order over $300NZD please note you may incur extra shipping costs due to the weight. Our customer service team will be in contact with you.

*ANY Standard NON TRACKABLE Service is not insurable, so if your package gets lost/stolen/misplaced, we are not able to refund your order on the NON Trackable services

Once this reaches your country, they will be delivered by your local Postal Service, not courier. 

*If you choose ECONOMY Courier:
You will be able to track your parcel from the moment it leaves us until it is delivered to your doorstep, by your local Postal Courier Company. You will be able to track your parcel from here: Tracking - International

 

Who do you use? - (International)

For all parcels around New Zealand - we use NZ Post. For all International Parcels we use a combination of NZ Post, International Air and some third parties once the parcel has arrived in the country of destination.

Yes but not for ECONOMY Courier, only for International AIRPOST

What if my International Order gets stuck at Customs? - (International)

Individual countries have various laws for the importation of medicines. Whilst Pharmacy Direct will not knowingly export products to a country where those products are classified as Prescription items, it is still your responsibility to check your country's legislation for any items prohibited by any law, regulation or statute of any country or state to, or through, which the items may be shipped.

Pharmacy Direct will not accept any liability or make compensation payments for loss, damage, delayed delivery or parcels halted by customs who may be checking for any prohibited items. From time to time shipments are held by customs and subject to inspection fees - Pharmacy Direct is not liable for these fees.

If your International order is not allowed into your country and Customs returns it to us, or it is unclaimed/undelivered, and returned back to us, our Customer Services team will contact you when it arrives back on our premises.  Provided your order does NOT include any *Exclusions, we will refund your order - not including the original shipping fee.

*EXCLUSIONS include (but are not limited to) Honey, foodstuffs or other perishable goods.

Honey is NOT allowed to be imported into the following countries: Western Australia / China / European Union countries including the United Kingdom (excluding packages less than 2kg to a natural person) / Japan / Republic of Korea / Malaysia / the United Arab Emirates / Saudi Arabia / This list is kept as up-to-date as possible so it may change without prior warning.
